Bacon skewers with Chinese five spice powder

A nice Chinese recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, bacon steaks, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic (pressed), Chinese (five spice powder), fresh chives (finely chopped) and oil to grease.

Directions

  1. Cut the bacon strips in 2 thin, long strips. Thread the strips in zigzag form onto the 8 (soaked) satésticks and place them in a low bowl. Mix in a bowl the soy sauce with the lemon juice, the garlic and the five spice powder. Spoon the marinade over the skewers and turn the meat in well. Let the meat covered in the refrigerator marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Place the bacon skewers on a greased griddle over medium hot fire and grill them in about 15 minutes brown and done. Slide the skewers when the bacon turns brown too quickly to a less hot spot on the barbecue. Put the skewers on a plate and sprinkle with chives and pepper to taste.
