A delicious indonesian recipe. The dessert contains the following ingredients: ground coconut (a 55 g), self-raising flour, vanilla sugar, egg, mineral water (carbonated), bananas, sunflower oil and ice cream vanilla (container 1 liter).

Directions

  1. Roast the coconut in a frying pan without butter or oil in 3 min. Golden brown. Let cool on a plate. Meanwhile, put the flour, the sugar and 1 pinch of salt in a bowl. Split the egg and add the egg yolk together with the mineral water. Stir with a whisk until smooth. Beat the egg whites stiffly with the mixer and gently fold through the batter.
  2. Peel the bananas and halve them in length and width so that you have 4 equal pieces of each banana. Immerse them in the batter.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok. Test with a piece of bread if the temperature is right. This is the case when the bread starts to fizz immediately when touched with the oil. Too hot oil starts to smoke.
  4. Take the bananas with a fork from the batter and fry in 3 or 4 pieces in approx. 4 min. Golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper. Serve hot with a scoop of ice cream next to it and sprinkle with the roasted coconut.
