Beets with broad beans and bacon
A tasty Dutch recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, broad beans fine ((300 g frozen), thawed), boiled beets, lean breakfast bacon, dried rosemary, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
Double-cup the green beans and put in a bowl. Peel the beetroot and cut into cubes of 1 x 1 cm. Divide over a flat dish.
Heat a frying pan without oil or butter and fry the bacon in 4 min. Until crispy. Turn halfway. Remove from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.
Spoon the green beans with the rosemary, vinegar and oil. Spread over the beetroot, crumble the bacon above and serve immediately. Delicious with a baked potato with 1 tbsp crème fraiche light and a few leaves of fresh mint.
