Halve the lime, cut 1 half into pieces and squeeze out the other half. Drain the pineapple pieces and mix with the lime juice.

Stir in the small pancake mix with buttermilk, egg and oil smooth batter. Melt the butter, but do not let it turn brown. Keep the melted butter apart.

Let the small pancake pan become hot. Pour a little bit of butter and a spoonful of batter into each hole. Bake the small pancakes on both sides brown.

Place a plate on a pan with boiling water, scoop up the small pancakes and keep covered hot. Meanwhile, bake the rest of the small pancakes.
