Crispy tempeh skewers with peanut sauce
Vegetarian saté of tempeh with a homemade marinade and a sauce of sambal, sweet soy sauce, peanut butter and coconut milk.

Cut the tempeh into cubes of 1 cm. Mix the sesame oil, onion powder, sambal and ketjapmarinadetot marinade.

Mix through the tempeh and marinate for 2 hours. Thread the tempeh on the satéprikkers.

Bring the sesame oil, sambal and sweet soy sauce with the peanut butter and coconut milk to a low heat while stirring. Turn off the heat.

Heat the sunflower oil in a large frying pan and fry the tempeh skewers over medium heat in 5-6 min. Around brown.

Serve with the peanut sauce and sprinkle with the fried onions.
