Frozen melon with mint

A nice argentinian recipe. The healthy dessert contains the following ingredients: limes (extruded), cane sugar (bag 500 g), watermelon (in 12 slices), ice cubes, mint ((a 15 g) and leaves cut).

Directions

  1. Put the lime juice with 4 tbsp water in a saucepan. Add the sugar and bring to the boil. Let the sugar roast and take off the fire. Allow to cool.
  2. Prick the slices of melon on the tapas sticks and place them next to each other on a plate or plateau that fits in the freezer. Pour the syrup over the melon slices, turn them a few times and put in the freezer for 1 hour.
  3. Wrap the ice cubes in a clean tea towel and store them small with a rolling pin. Divide over a large bowl or tray. Divide the melon over the ice. Sprinkle with the mint leaves and serve.
