Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 160 ℃. Grease the mold with the butter completely.
-
Then spray with the cake mix. This way you ensure that the turban comes out of the shape as well as possible.
-
Shake the excess cake mix in a large mixing bowl and add the rest of the cake mix, the rest of the butter (at room temperature) and the eggs.
-
Mix with a hand mixer at a low setting in 5 minutes to a smooth batter.
-
Let the fruit cocktail drain and collect the syrup.
-
First spread the cornstarch through the fruit and then fold the fruit through the batter. Distribute over the turban shape.
-
Fry the turban in the middle of the oven for about 1 hour. Cover with aluminum foil if the turban becomes too dark.
-
After 50 minutes, check with a skewer for doneness. If this comes out clean, the turban is cooked.
-
Cool for 10 minutes in the mold.
-
Put a plate or flat dish upside down on the turban and turn around so that it comes out of the shape. Allow to cool completely in 1 hour.
-
For the glaze, mix 3 tbsp (per 12 persons) fruit syrup with the icing sugar and spread over the turban.
-
Using a sieve, dust the rest of the icing sugar.
