Hamburger with spicy mayonnaise
A nice South African recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, red onion (chopped), dried thyme, steak tarts (2 dishes a 230 g), silver onions (in pieces), sour pickle (in pieces), carrot julienne (150 g), sambal badjak ( jar 200 g), mayonnaise, olive oil and soft balls.

Knead the onion and thyme through the tarttails. Form 4 thin hamburgers with wet hands.

Spoon the silver onions, gherkin and carrot julienne into a bowl and mix. Season to taste with pepper and salt and 2 tablespoons of water from the pot of pickles.

Mix the sambal with the mayonnaise. Brush the burgers with the oil and grill them for about 3 minutes on the braai. Turn halfway. Meanwhile cut the rolls in half. Place this very briefly on the braai. Cover with sweetness, burgers and spicy mayonnaise.
