Indian lamb chops with yoghurt sauce

A nice Indian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, lamb chops (or 4 pork fillets), Tikka Masala paste (80 g), banana (peeled), Greek yogurt, fresh mint (chopped), lime juice (or lemon juice), garlic (pressed) and oil.

Directions

  1. Rub the lamb chops all around with the Tikka Masala paste and leave for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, make the yoghurt sauce (raita): cut the banana into small cubes.
  3. In a bowl, stir in the yogurt with the lime juice and mix in the garlic, fresh mint and banana.
  4. Season the yogurt sauce with salt and pepper.
  5. Heat the oil in a frying pan with non-stick coating and fry the chops in 4-6 minutes (or for pork fillet patties 6-8 minutes) nicely brown, turn them halfway.
  6. Lamb may still be rosé inside, pork must be cooked.
  7. Place the chops on four plates and spoon the yogurt sauce next to it.
  8. Tasty with rice or roasted shawarma sandwiches and broccoli..
