Japanese fennel
A nice Japanese recipe. The vegetarian starter contains the following ingredients: fennel tubers, Japanese soy sauce and oil.

Clean the fennel tubers and cut them into thin slices lengthwise.

Stir the soy sauce through the oil and brush the slices of fennel.

Heat the grill pan and turn down the heat as soon as it is hot.

Grill the slices of fennel 1-2 minutes per side, so that both sides have a nice checkered pattern.

Place the fennel on a plate and serve..
