Heat a grill pan without oil or butter.

Cut the burger rolls open and grill the halves for 3 minutes on the cutting edges. Take out of the pan.

Leave the grill pan on the fire and grill the burgers in approx. 8 minutes until golden brown and done. Turn halfway.

Meanwhile, remove the leaves from the lettuce, wash and dry them. Cut the pickles into slant slices. Cut the tomatoes into slices.

For the sauce, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup and 2 tsp of gherkin juice into a bowl. Season with (freshly ground) pepper.

Cover the bottom halves of the buns successively with the lettuce, sauce, burger, tomato and pickle. Put the top on top and serve.
