Lamb steak with basil crust
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, white bread, basil ((15 g), finely chopped), fresh parsley, Zaanse mustard, olive oil, lamb steak (frozen and 5 x 80 g).

Crumble the slices of bread in the food processor or with the hand blender.

Stir in the basil and chopped parsley, including the stalks, to create a crumbly mixture.

Add the mustard and 1 tablespoon of olive oil while turning.

Season the seasoning mixture with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Preheat the oven grill.

Dab the lamb steaks dry with kitchen paper and sprinkle with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Heat the rest of the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the lamb steaks on high heat in 1-2 minutes per side brown.

Place the lamb steaks side by side in the baking dish and spread the herb-bread mixture over it.

Lightly press the mixture and slide the bowl under the hot grill 15 centimeters.

Let the herbs crust light in 2-3 minutes.

Delicious with mashed potatoes, sugarsnaps and grilled (bunch) tomatoes..
