Lemon Chicken


A nice Chinese recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, lemon, chicken fillet (in thin strips), egg, cornstarch, oil, chicken broth (from tablet), soy sauce (light), dry sherry, chilli powder and spring onion (in slant rings).

Directions

  1. Clean lemon, peel fine graters and lemon.
  2. Split egg and dissolve protein.
  3. In a bowl of chicken with whipped egg whites, 1/2 tablespoon of cornstarch, half of lemon zest and salt and pepper to taste and mix for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat in wok oil and stir fry for 5 minutes.
  5. Drain in colander.
  6. Broth to the boil with 3 tbsp lemon juice, rest of lemon zest, soy sauce, sherry and chilli powder.
  7. Allow to cook slowly for 3 minutes on low heat.
  8. Dismantle the remaining maize corn with 1 tbsp water and add it to the sauce while stirring.
  9. Continue stirring until sauce is lightly bound.
  10. Season with salt and pepper.
  11. Spread the spring onions and chicken through them and heat everything on a high heat for 2 minutes.
  12. Tasty with white rice and stir-fried sugarsnaps..
