Marinated bacon steaks with beet puree


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, mashed potatoes à la minute (pack of 3 sachets), grated beetroot (400 g), fresh chives (a 25 g), apple, butter and marinated bacon steaks à la minute (approx. 300 g) .

Directions

  1. Heat the beetroot in pan with a little water on a low heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare mashed potatoes according to instructions on the packaging.
  3. Cut chives into pieces, peel apple and cut into cubes.
  4. Drain beetroot in colander and put back in pan.
  5. Create warm puree and chives.
  6. Keep the puree with lid warm on the pan.
  7. Heat butter in large frying pan and bacon steaks in 2-3 min.
  8. Per side brown bowls.
  9. Remove bacon steaks from pan and keep warm on plate under aluminum foil.
  10. In the left-over cooking fat apple, bake for 2-3 min.
  11. Spread the beet puree on plates and create bacon strips with apple next to it..
