Marinated cherry cakes
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: cherry (without pit (370 g)), ricotta (cheese, 250 g), eggs (whipped), custard powder, white caster sugar, cherry jam and balsamic vinegar.

Drain the cherries over a bowl and store the juice.

Let the cherries drain on kitchen paper.

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.

Stir in the ricotta with the eggs, the custard powder and half of the caster sugar until smooth.

Spread the cherries over the baking tins and scoop the ricotta batter on top.

Bake the cakes in the middle of the oven in 30 minutes until golden brown and done.

Cook in a pan with a thick bottom the cherry juice with jam, the rest of the sugar and the vinegar in 5-8 minutes until syrup.
