Mild rice
A delicious indonesian recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: onion, garlic, ginger root, oil, cloves, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, quick cooking rice and salt.

Slice onion and garlic and finely chop.

Ginger peel and grate.

Heat oil in pan and gently fry onion and garlic for about 1 minute.

Ginger, cloves, cinnamon, pinch nutmeg and add rice and gratin in approx.

1 minute.

Add water and salt tip of salt so that rice is just underneath, covered for 8 minutes.

Drain the rice and leave it covered for 15 minutes.

Remove cloves and cinnamon stick.

Serving rice with fried onions and slices of cucumber..
