Mint tomatoes with mint

A tasty Italian recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: tomatoes, garlic (finely chopped), fresh mint (chopped), olive oil, coarse sea salt and freshly ground black pepper (freshly ground).

Directions

  1. Cut the tomatoes in half lengthwise and place them in a dish with the cut surface. Divide the garlic and fresh mint. Sprinkle with the olive oil and add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Place the tomatoes on the convex side on a greased grill or grill topper. Grill them over hot heat for 2-3 minutes. Slide them to a less hot part of the barbecue and cover them loosely with a piece of aluminum foil or the lid. Roast for about 5 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and warm but still firm.
