Moors rabbit


A tasty Spanish recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, onions, garlic, olive oil, rabbit (about 800 g), allspice, clove powder, ground cumin, cinnamon powder, white almonds, saffron threads, sherry fino, raisins and fresh parsley.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 175 ºC or gas oven 3.
  2. Peel onions and cut into thin rings.
  3. Slice garlic and cut into thin slices.
  4. Heat oil in frying pan.
  5. Baking the rabbit around brown.
  6. Remove from the pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Slightly fry the remaining onion oil.
  8. Season garlic, cinnamon, cloves powder, cumin, cinnamon powder and half of almonds.
  9. Add saffron and sherry and bring to the boil.
  10. Remove the rabbit in the pan and cover in the middle of the oven in approx.
  11. 45 minutes.
  12. Meanwhile, soak raisins for about 5 minutes in warm water, then drain.
  13. Peel the parsley with the rest of the almonds in the food processor.
  14. Almond parsley mixture and raisins over rabbit sprinkle.
  15. Delicious with (saffron) rice and spinach with pine nuts..
