Muffins with pistachio nuts
A tasty american recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, buttermilk, sunflower oil, self-rising flour, pistachios (unsalted peeled (a 55 g) and coarsely chopped).

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC. Put the sugar with the vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Break the egg over the bowl. Pour in half of the buttermilk and mix well. Add the rest of the buttermilk and the oil while beating.

Sift half of the flour above the bowl and fold it through the egg mixture. Sift and spatula the rest of the flour through a smooth batter. Stir in the pistachio nuts. Divide the batter over the muffin molds. Bake the muffins in the preheated oven until golden brown and done in 20-25 minutes.
