Mushroom soup with noodles
A nice Chinese recipe. The vegetarian starter contains the following ingredients: oil, fresh ginger root (peeled and sliced), garlic (peeled and bruised), black peppercorns (crushed), vegetable stock (from tablet), shiitake (in thin slices), noodles, five spice powder (Chinese), soy sauce (light), dry sherry, sesame oil, fresh chives ((a 20 g) and finely chopped).

Heat oil in pan.

Ginger, garlic and peppercorns gently fry.

Add broth and bring to the boil.

Bring the broth for 10 minutes and sift over soup pan.

Add Shii-take, noodles and five-spice powder and simmer soup for 10 minutes.

Soy sauce and sherry stir into soup.

Pour soup into bowls and sprinkle sesame oil over it.

Garnish with chives..
