                                Wash the cucumber, cut into slices and put in a bowl. Put the vinegar, sugar, salt and water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil.

                                Take the pan as the contents boil off the heat and pour the hot dressing over the cucumber. Let alone until use.

                                Bring a large pot of water to the boil.
 - 
                                Add salt if necessary. Add the rice and leave on low heat for 8 minutes and with the lid on the pan done.

                                Drain the water, put the rice back in the pan and leave it for 10 minutes with the lid on the pan.
 - 
                                Meanwhile, peel the ginger and cut it fine. Slice the garlic.
 - 
                                Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan and fry the onion slices with the ginger, garlic, sambal and cumin for 10 minutes on low heat. Stir frequently.

                                Add the chicken and string beans to the fried onion and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Change regularly.

                                Add the rice and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes. Season the nasi spice with pepper and salt.
 - 
                                In the meantime, heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the eggs.
 - 
                                Spoon the bean sprouts through the nasi herbs and serve with the cucumber salad, fried onions and a fried egg. Delicious with extra sambal.
