Pasta with grilled fennel
A tasty Italian recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: olive oil, garlic (finely chopped), dried chili peppers (chilli powder), tomato cubes (400 g), white wine, penne rigate, fennel tubers, Pecorino ((spicy sheep cheese) and grated).

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan and fry the garlic for 30 seconds.

Add the chillies, the tomato cubes and the white wine.

Let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes on low heat, then season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.

Meanwhile, cook the penne al dente according to the instructions on the package.

Clean the fennel tubers, halve them in length and cut them into thin parts.

Brush the fennel with 1 tablespoon of oil.

Heat the grill pan to very hot.

Grill the fennel parts 2-3 minutes per side.

Drain the penne and scoop with the tomato sauce.

Divide the penne over four deep plates and put the grilled fennel on top.

Garnish with the Pecorino..
