Penne with sauce of winter vegetables


A tasty Italian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, olive oil, onion (chopped), garlic (finely chopped), winter carrot (diced), celery (in pieces), tomato cubes (400 g), dried thyme, penne (pasta) and salami (in thin strips).

Directions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and gently fry the onion and garlic.
  2. Fry the carrot and celery for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the tomato cubes and the thyme and let the vegetable sauce simmer for another 10 minutes.
  4. If necessary, dilute with a splash of water.
  5. Boil the penne in a pan with plenty of water in 10-12 minutes until al dente.
  6. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan and fry the salami strips crispy brown.
  7. Drain the penne and spread the pasta over 4 warm deep plates.
  8. Spoon the vegetable sauce over it and garnish with the fried salami strips..
