Pitta burger with avocado and corn pepper salad

Directions

  1. Cut the stalk of the peppers, remove the seeds and cut the flesh into thin rings.
  2. Slice the chives. Cut the tomatoes into wedges and mix with the mild salsa and half of the chives.
  3. Drain the corn. Mix the peppers with the corn, the rest of the chives and olive oil. Season with pepper and salt. Set the salad aside.
  4. Heat the grill pan without oil or butter and grill the burgers for 5 minutes. Turn halfway. In the meantime, prepare the pita bread according to the instructions on the packaging.
  5. Halve the avocado halfway in half and remove the kernel. Scoop the flesh from the skin with a spoon and cut into slices.
  6. Cut the buns open. Siege with a burger, divide the avocado and add 2 tbsp salsa. Serve with the corn pepper salad and the rest of the salsa.
