A tasty Italian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, butter, pancetta ((Italian bacon) in strips), red onion (chopped), risotto rice (bag a 500 g), chicken broth (from tablet), garden peas (frozen) and spicy cheese (( eg grana padano) grated).

Directions

  1. Heat the butter in a large pan with a thick bottom and fry the pancetta until crispy.
  2. Add the onion and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the risotto and cook for 1-2 minutes until the granules shine and are transparent.
  4. Pour in half of the stock and let the rice slowly pick up the stock on low heat; stir regularly.
  5. Always add a dash of broth; let the rice take in the broth completely before you add new broth; keep on stirring regularly.
  6. Add the frozen garden peas after 10 minutes.
  7. Boil the risotto with the garden peas in 20-25 minutes until al dente.
  8. Season with (freshly ground) pepper.
  9. Spoon the risotto into four bowls and sprinkle with the cheese..
