Directions

  1. Boil the lentils in plenty of water over 20 minutes over medium heat. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the tahini, mayonnaise and harissa into a sauce. Season with pepper and salt.
  3. Halve the lettuce lengthwise.
  4. Put the lentils, oatmeal, baharat and the eggs in the food processor and grind to a coarse puree.
  5. Season the lentil mixture to taste with pepper and salt and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
  6. In the meantime cut the bread rolls in half lengthwise and drizzle the inside with oil. Put the sesame seeds in a deep plate.
  7. Form 4 citizens of the lentil mixture with wet hands and get them through the sesame seeds.
  8. Heat the grill pan and grill the burgers in 8 min. Golden brown. Turn halfway.
  9. Keep the burgers warm on a plate under aluminum foil and grill the rolls and half-heads of lettuce 2 minutes on the cutting edge.
  10. Cut the tomatoes and onions into thin slices.
  11. Brush the bottom of the buns with the sauce, top with the lentil burgers, tomato and onion rings. Serve with the lettuce.
