Scalloped chicory leaves
A tasty recipe. The vegetarian starter contains the following ingredients: leaves of chicory (about 3 stalks), goat's cheese (eg Bettine Blanc 50), thyme (leaved leaves), pepper (freshly ground), liquid honey, pine nuts and oil.
Preheat the grill to the highest setting.
Grease the baking tray with oil.
Cut the underside of the chicory stalks and remove the hard core.
Stir the cheese with a fork and mix the thyme and a pinch of pepper through it.
Fill the chicory leaves with the cheese, place them on the baking tray and spread the honey and the pine nuts over it.
Put the chicory leaves about 5 cm under the hot grill and let them light golden brown in approx.
