Steak stick bread with red onion and horseradish


Steak stick bread with red onion, ricotta, lettuce and horseradish.

Directions

  1. Cut the onions into rings.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the onion on low heat in 15 min. Soft and brown. Stir frequently.
  3. After 10 minutes add the vinegar, pepper and possibly salt.
  4. Meanwhile, season the meat with the rest of the oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Heat the grill pan without oil or butter and grill the meat for 4-6 minutes. Turn halfway.
  6. Remove from the pan and rest for 5 minutes on a plate under a lid or aluminum foil.
  7. Meanwhile, mix the ricotta with the horseradish and dill. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Let the grilled peppers drain and cut into strips.
  9. Cut the baguette half way through. Cover the bottom half with the lettuce and grilled peppers.
  10. Cut the steak into thin slices and place on it. Divide the onion and ricotta over it.
  11. Cover with the top of the bread and serve immediately.
