Steak with grilled onion


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, Belgian fries (frozen), balsamic vinegar, olive oil, low-fat yoghurt, iceberg lettuce with frisée (200 g), tomatoes (in slices), steaks (at room temperature), red onion (in rings) and fresh parsley (chopped).

Directions

  1. Prepare the oven chips according to the instructions on the packaging.
  2. Make a vinegar dressing, 1 tablespoon of oil and yogurt.
  3. Season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  4. Spoon the salad with the dressing and place the slices of tomato on it.
  5. Heat the grill pan.
  6. Brush the steak and onions thinly with 2 tablespoons of oil and sprinkle with (freshly ground) pepper.
  7. Gril the steak in 2-3 minutes per side from the outside brown and inside rosé.
  8. Grill the onion rings next to the steak until they are brown.
  9. Sprinkle the onion rings with parsley.
  10. Serve the steak with the onion, fries and salad..
