Mediterranean stew with chicken, onion, apricots and almonds.

Directions

  1. Sprinkle the chicken drumsticks with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a tajine or skillet and fry the chicken drumsticks around golden brown.
  2. Cut the onion into rings. Add the onion and ginger powder and fry everything for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the apricots, almonds, saffron, hot water and pepper and salt to taste.
  4. Place the lid diagonally on the pan and simmer the chicken over a low heat for about 40 minutes.
  5. Serve the chicken in the tagine or spoon it into a nice bowl.
