Tagine of chicken with apricots

Sprinkle the chicken drumsticks with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a tajine or skillet and fry the chicken drumsticks around golden brown.

Cut the onion into rings. Add the onion and ginger powder and fry everything for 2 minutes.

Add the apricots, almonds, saffron, hot water and pepper and salt to taste.

Place the lid diagonally on the pan and simmer the chicken over a low heat for about 40 minutes.

Serve the chicken in the tagine or spoon it into a nice bowl.
