Cut the mozzarella into slices.

Brush the slices of bread on one side with the tapenade.

Serve half of the slices in succession with the mozzarella, salami, basil and mozzarella again.

Cover with the rest of the bread and press firmly. Spread the outer edges with the butter.

Heat a frying pan without oil or butter for two toasted sandwiches and fry the sandwiches in a low heat for 4 minutes on each side.

Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
