Tuna souvlaki with pita bread


A nice Greek recipe. The starter contains the following ingredients: fish, lemons (1 scented and 1 in parts), olive oil, dried oregano, tuna (fillet, in pieces of 2 cm), red peppers (in pieces of approx. 2 cm), red onions ( peeled and in parts) and shoarma breads.

Directions

  1. For marinade peel thinly grated 1 lemon and press fruit. In a large bowl of lemon zest, juice, oil, oregano, mix 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper. Add pieces of tuna through it and, covered, marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature. Flip a few times. Alternately place pieces of tuna, pieces of paprika and onion slices on soaked skewers. Keep skewers and remaining marinade in a refrigerator until use.
  2. Skewers on well greased grill topper on each side for 2 to 3 min. Grilling. Cover skewers in the meantime with the remaining marinade. Meanwhile, sandwiches on barbecue grills on each side 1/2 min. Grilling. Cut open sandwiches and place skewer between them. To taste lemon squeeze out and sprinkle pepper or salt over it. Delicious with tzatziki and kalamata olives.
