Warm autumnal salad with steak and hazelnuts


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes, steaks, oil, red onions (in coarse pieces), mushroom mixture (200 g), snow peas, balsamic vinegar, lettuce mixture (with watercress (a 100 g)) and hazelnuts (75 g).

Directions

  1. Prepare the potatoes in the microwave according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Sprinkle the steak with (freshly ground) pepper.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and brown the steaks on high heat in about 5 minutes on both sides.
  4. Remove the meat from the pan and cover it with aluminum foil.
  5. Pour the rest of the oil into the pan, stir fry the onions on high heat and add the mushrooms and the pea pods.
  6. Pour over the balsamic vinegar after 5 minutes.
  7. Season with (sea) salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  8. Bake for 1 minute on a high fire.
  9. Arrange the lettuce on 4 large plates, divide the potatoes and sprinkle the mushroom-vegetable mixture over it.
  10. Cut the steaks into strips, spread them over the lettuce and sprinkle with the hazelnuts.
  11. Tasty with coarse brown bread and salty butter..
