Bagel with red winter fruit


A tasty recipe. The breakfast contains the following ingredients: orange juice, cinnamon stick, dried red fruit, bagels (with poppy seeds), orange (scrubbed) and cream cheese.

Directions

  1. Bring the juice with the cinnamon stick to a boil in a pan. Add the dried fruit, turn off the heat and let the fruit soak for about 20 minutes. Scoop the fruit from the juice into a bowl and grate the zest of the orange over the fruit. Scoop everything together. Store in the refrigerator until use.
  2. Heat the grill pan. Cut the bagels open. Roast the bottom half of the bagels in the grill pan on both sides until light brown. Then roast the top of the bagels until golden brown.
  3. Brush the bottom half of the bagels with the cream cheese. Put them each on a plate. Spoon the stoned fruit and place the top of the bagel on top. Serve immediately.
