Brussels sprouts with apple
Dutch sprouts with onion, apple and cinnamon.

Cook the sprouts in 10-15 min. Until al dente. Rinse the sprouts in a colander under cold running water and allow to drain well.

Peel the apples and cut into quarters. Remove the core and cut the quarters into cubes. Sprinkle the lemon juice over it.

Chop the onion coarsely. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the onion with cinnamon and cumin gently. Season with pepper.

Scoop the apple through and fry while stirring for 3-4 minutes.

Add the sprouts and let warm through.

Season the sprouts to taste with salt and transfer to a warm dish. If necessary, put a knob of butter on it.
