Chicken skewers with basil paste


Grilled chicken satay with penne, broccoli and basil.

Directions

  1. Grate the yellow skin of the lemon and put it in a bowl.
  2. Cut the chicken into pieces of 3 x 3 cm.
  3. Cut the bacon into slices of 1/2 cm.
  4. Cut the needles of the rosemary sprigs fine.
  5. Mix the chicken, the bacon, the oil and the chopped rosemary with the lemon zest. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator, longer stays.
  6. Baste the chicken and the bacon over and over to the skewers.
  7. Heat the grill pan. Sprinkle the chicken with freshly ground pepper and grill the skewers for 10 minutes. Turn regularly.
  8. In the meantime, cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the package.
  9. Cut the broccoli into small florets. Cook the broccoli for 4 minutes and drain.
  10. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the broccoli and cook for 3 minutes.
  11. Slice the leaves of basil fine.
  12. Mix the broccoli with the basil through the pasta and serve with the skewers.
