Cod with potato tortilla


A tasty Spanish recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, olive oil, garlic (finely chopped), white wine, whipped cream (125 ml), fresh mussels (in the shell (bag a 2 kilo), cleaned), cod fillet (a 100 - 150 g), potato tortilla (with onion (chillies, 500 g)), fresh parsley ((a 30 g), only the leaves and chopped).

Directions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a thick-bottomed pan or with a non-stick coating.
  2. Stew the garlic over low heat until it starts to smell.
  3. Pour the wine and the whipped cream into the pan.
  4. Rinse the mussels under the cold tap before use, discard the broken parts and remove any wires.
  5. Bring the sauce to the boil and place the mussel shells in it.
  6. Steam them with the lid on the pan in 5-7 minutes and cooked.
  7. Turn off the heat under the pan.
  8. Heat the potato tortilla according to the instructions on the package.
  9. Heat a grill pan over a high heat.
  10. Spread the cod fillets thinly with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and grill the fish fillets in 4-5 minutes until they are no longer transparent (turn them halfway).
  11. Sprinkle with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  12. Season the mussel sauce with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  13. Slice the tortilla with a long sharp knife in 4 slices, put the fish next to it.
  14. Serve with the mussel sauce and sprinkle with the parsley..
