Tear the bread into pieces. Let the grilled peppers drain and cut into pieces.

Halve the fresh peppers, remove the seeds and cut into 2 cm pieces. Cut the onion into wafer-thin half rings.

Halve the tomatoes. Let the capers drain and absorb 2 cubits of liquid. Tear the leaves of basil into pieces.

Mix the bread, the vegetables, capers including the 2 tablespoons of water, pizzasauce, pine nuts and 2/3 of the basil in a large bowl.

Season with pepper and salt. Cut the chicken fillet into thin slices and place on the salad. Sprinkle with the rest of the basil.
