Heat the oven grill.

Cut the tomatoes horizontally in half. Let the green handle of the starter sit on the tomatoes for decoration.

Place the tomato halves with the cutting edge upwards on a baking tray. Grate the cheese and sprinkle over it.

Squeeze the garlic and stir in the oil together with the herbs. Season with salt and pepper.

Sprinkle the tomato halves with the herb oil and place them for 10 minutes under the grill.

Take them out of the oven and carefully place the top (with the stem starter) diagonally on the bottom of the tomato.
