Mussels with bacon and Italian herbs
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, mussels, cherry tomatoes, thin bacon strips, garlic (finely chopped), Italian spice mix (finely chopped (fresh or frozen)) and dry white wine.

Wash the mussels thoroughly. Discard broken specimens and exposed shells that do not close after a tap. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

Heat the wok on the barbecue. Fry the bacon strips in the wok for about 4 minutes until golden brown. Add the garlic and fry for 1 minute in the bacon fat. Stir in the mussels and add the tomatoes, herbs and wine. Place the lid on the woks and let the mussels overcook over 6-8 minutes over hot flames, shake the wok up and down. Remove mussels that have not opened and sprinkle some pepper. Tasty with baguette.
