Sausage skewers with vegetables


A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, eggplant, zucchini, olive oil, lemon (squeezed), garlic (squeezed), chipolata lamb sausages, aioli (garlic mayonnaise), capers, black olives (without pit and chopped).

Directions

  1. Place the aubergine on a work surface and cut the convex sides thinly over the length on both sides so that you can cut nice straight slices.
  2. Cut the aubergine and zucchini over the length into 8 evenly thin slices.
  3. Mix them in a bowl with the olive oil, lemon juice and garlic.
  4. Marinate them covered for at least 1 hour.
  5. Thread the sausages (1 per skewer) with the vegetables on the skewers; first a slice of eggplant, then a sausage, then a slice of zucchini, and so on.
  6. Place the skewers on a greased grill on the barbecue.
  7. Grill them over a medium heat in about 15 minutes.
  8. Turn the skewers regularly during grilling.
  9. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  10. Mix in a bowl the aioli with the capers and the black olives.
  11. Season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  12. Serve the sauce with the skewers..
