Brush the scallops lightly with oil and stick them to the skewers. Heat the grill pan until it is piping hot.

Gril the scallops on both sides approx. 1 min. Sprinkle with pepper and (sea) salt. Put the coquille skewers in a glass and serve with chili sauce.
