Light the barbecue.

Cut the avocados half way through. Remove the kernel, scoop out the flesh with a spoon and cut it finely.

Cut the tomato fine. Slice the shallot fine. Squeeze out the lime.

Cut the stalk of the red pepper. Halve lengthways, remove the seeds and cut the flesh finely.

Mix the avocado with the tomato, shallot and lime juice. Press the garlic above, season with red pepper, extra lime juice and salt.

Grill the jalapeño burgers for 12 minutes on the barbecue. Times regularly.

Cut open the ciabatta. Cover the lower half with the guacamole.

Cut the burgers into slices and place on the guacamole.

Place the top half of the ciabatta on the burgers and cut into pieces.
