When we talk about healthy eating, we are usually talking about the noun, not the verb. Yet that turns out to be just as important. If you know how your digestive system works, you will automatically understand which foods, when, and in which combination of foods are best. Responsible cooking suddenly becomes a lot easier. You never have to leave the table with a (too) full stomach. And your body automatically maintains its weight. Health gurus Harvey and Marilyn Diamond claim that in the 1970s. How much of that is still true today? After all, dietary rules are constantly changing, it seems.
