This is known to be detrimental to your general health. One of the consequences is a lack of Enzymes and Potassium. These substances are vital for the proper functioning of your body.

  1. Potassium is a mineral and is indispensable for the body in general, and especially for the correct functioning of cells, tissues and organs. Zi Potassium is very important for the contraction of the muscle fibers and a good conduction of nerve impulses. And in combination with salt, potassium ensures better regulation of blood pressure. In addition, potassium has a positive effect on the moisture balance and removes toxins from the body.

  1. If you are potassium deficient, the following symptoms may appear:

  1. Enzymes is a collective name for all types of proteins in your body that exist in different types. Each enzyme is responsible for initiating a process in the body, whereby the enzyme itself is not transformed. Each enzyme can therefore repeat this trick several times. Without these enzymes, as a catalyst for body processes, your body cannot function.

  1. With a shortage of a certain enzyme, a certain process can no longer take place in your body. You will notice this in symptoms such as burping, sour air from the stomach, prolonged hiccups and giving up nutrition. You see this a lot in newborn babies. In adults, this can take on more serious forms such as gastric reflux, heartburn, stomach ulcer, loss of taste and smell, and gastritis.

Especially in the form of apple cider vinegar many benefits are attributed to this, including against diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and herpes.

What is apple cider vinegar?

  1. First of all, it should be clear that apple cider vinegar is not the same as regular wine vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is actually made from apples that are fermented. When apple juice starts to ferment, the sweeteners of the apples are transformed into alcohol and we call it wine or, in this case, actually apple cider without bubbles. If air enters the wine during this process, the transformation process continues very slowly and the alcohol is further converted into acid. The product is a sour wine which we call apple cider vinegar in this case. A commonly used collective name is Vinaigre. This is derived from the French words â € Vin Aigreâ € ™, which literally means â € Sour Wineâ € ™.

Make your own apple cider vinegar

  1. Apple cider vinegar is available in stores, but making it yourself is a great option. This way you know exactly what is (not) in it. Moreover, you process the skins and cores of apples that you would otherwise throw away.

  1. Requirements:

  1. Take the tray or pan and fill it with all the apple waste, so the skins and cores. Fill this container with lukewarm water so that the water level is about 1 centimeter above the apple remains. The apple scraps are likely to float, and to prevent this you can put a plate in the container to keep everything under water. Now put the muslin cloth or the (clean) dishcloth over the tray and tie it with a rope or an elastic band so that it stays in place and is closed.

  1. You place this container in a not too cool place for 2 weeks. The process will attract fruit flies to the scent. Therefore, do not place the container in the kitchen, but in a place where you will not be bothered by the inevitable fruit flies.

  1. After the period of 2 weeks, the apple cider vinegar is ready. When you remove the cloth and board you will likely see a layer of nut. This is a sign that the process went well.

  1. Sieve the apple cider vinegar with the muslin cloth or dishcloth and keep the clear apple cider vinegar in the cleaned, and preferably boiled, bottle.

  1. To speed up the process you can add a few grams of yeast, but it is not necessary.

  1. Internal use of apple cider vinegar

You can use apple cider vinegar both internally and externally.

  1. Apple cider vinegar and Cholesterol: When used internally, apple cider vinegar helps to lower your cholesterol in a natural way. Too high a cholesterol level is a danger for cardiovascular disease. A glass of water with 2 to 3 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar a day is already very effective in keeping your cholesterol at a healthy level.

  1. Apple cider vinegar and inflammation: Apple cider vinegar is also very popular for its antiseptic effect, in other words: it inhibits and prevents inflammation in general. Especially people with gout, rheumatism or joint pain can benefit greatly from this. Smaller inflammations, such as a sore throat, can also benefit from taking apple cider vinegar.

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar and Blood: It is a slow process, but apple cider vinegar purifies your blood and balances your blood pressure. It takes a number of weeks before you will see results, but the result is impressive: Healthier blood will make you look better and healthier. Some experience this as a younger body.

  1. Apple cider vinegar and Weight Loss: Apple cider vinegar has become a well-known remedy to help you lose weight. This natural product is active in many areas in losing excess weight:

  1. When you lose weight, do not take more than 3 glasses of water with 1 or 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar per day. Because apple cider vinegar is very acidic, you can get stomach problems with excessive consumption.

External use of apple cider vinegar

  1. Besides the internal use, you can also use apple cider vinegar externally.

  1. Apple cider vinegar and the Skin: Apple cider vinegar neutralizes the acidity of your skin and can possibly work against various skin ailments. It works against eczema, dry skin, oily skin and pimples, among other things. The best way to apply apple cider vinegar is to dab it on your skin with a cotton pad. You can also mix it well with your existing lotion. Do not use it more than once or twice a day.

  1. Apple cider vinegar and Fungi: Apple cider vinegar has a strong antiseptic effect, so you can use it for example against athlete's foot. You can take a foot bath with a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
